Thankful

I am thankful for Maverick's resolve to learn from every mistake and become better.  There is something about Maverick that is obvious.  It intends to do business the right way.  It keeps its truck in tiptop shape and it allows me to trust every move is to keep me rolling to both of our benefits.  

I never talk about religion or politics with those I wish to remain friends with, unless I know I'm in a safe place to do so.  So here I only invite my friends to read my deepest beliefs.  I'm afraid it is not as profound or wild as some may have imagined.  I only have one prayer and that is "Thank you God"  I have more than once prayed for patience and God was more than generous in giving me reasons to be patient.  As God planed the unbearable life situations pushed me to temperament as steel is tempered to become stronger. I no longer seek patience.  I embrace a new surrender and acceptance to what comes my way and I pray "Thank you for what you have given me today and the grace to know what I can change and what I can't"  So my only demons are those that live with, in my desires and vices.  Everything else I am thankful for God's intention to answer my every prayer even if I don't know what to pray for.

Driving Spirit

Two of my days of driving behind the wheel were over 550 miles.  After driving over 1000 miles in two days I put in my first 630 or more miles in for one day.  It was this Friday and I could have fallen into poor self-talk of victimhood because I didn't get paid for the miles.  I got training pay. So much

Maverick has to have the most intense, in-depth, complete and longest training available to new truck drivers. I'm still at least 10 days out from running on my own. I have to finish classes in Little Rock and then work a week or more in a glass factory. Is it worth it k me my money? Stay tuned!

Crossing America

I say that I am having fun?  Well I am in the momments that I am driving.  So when I am not my mind travels into the future, like where is this job really taking me? Then into the past as I ask am I running away from something just as much as I am running to a better income?  Well, when I am alone I process thoughts.  Well, I'm alone for days at a time and I process so many thoughts.  Such as "is this enough work to make me happy?"  Well, I am happy but I not only miss my little girl but I must want to be missed and welcomed home.   I will say this, I am able to influence my daughter more with the emails then I did when I was home.  I have her attention when she reads my emails and she is able to share with me her feelings about her drawings and her processes is drawings and the technologies she desires to have to draw her creations with.  In the past week alove she has gone to wanting her laptop fixed, her iPad fixed, a new drawing tabl...
